Anjali mudra (hand gesture) means I bow to thee (Namaste) in Sanskrit. The poster depicts nine universal emotions or rasas which each item in the classical music and dance program showcased. I was one of the co-organizer of the event hosted by McLean County India Association in collaboration with the American Red Cross to raise money for victims of hurricane Katrina. I performed Bharatanatyam to depict the Santa rasa (peace and tranquility). The event raised $5,000.
